Promo!
So, recently this week I have been promoted from a customer service rep to an assistant store manager at the Apple Reseller store in which I work. I am happy with this new position because I get more money but on the other hand it has had me a bit down. There are a lot of benefits to working with this company and there is even room to move up but I never had intentions to be working in retail as a career. No offence to retailers, but it just isn't my calling in life. Right now, I have all my bets put down on one company who I know will hire me someday even though it might not be tomorrow or the day after...and I know the first "real" design job is the hardest but these people are why I came to Portland in the first place!
